Do you enjoy stories that make you wonder, “What…did that really happen?” Then "The Abduction Chronicles"  might be your next favorite read. Recently on Amazon’s #1 Best Seller list, this book has a unique and different  style that blends bits of the author’s real life with his imagination—so smoothly that readers can’t tell where fact ends and fiction begins. And that’s the fun of it.

Thomas L. Hay originally wrote his actual memoir "The Comeback Kid." Afterwards, he started thinking about something his ex-wife always insisted on: that they had been abducted by aliens during their brief marriage. He never believed her but the accusation stuck with him.   “What if she were right?” From that simple thought process, "The Abduction Chronicles" story was born. Written as a memoir in a conversational style designed to feel personal and believable while still being a firmly fictional sci-fi adventure.

The story follows Hay as he experiences bizarre encounters, strange lights, missing memories, and unsettling physical signs. Hay takes moments inspired loosely by his real past and then blends in creative storytelling to build a narrative where: • mysterious encounters feel almost possible • memories may or may not be trustworthy • and truth is deliberately uncertain. You’re never supposed to know exactly which parts are based on his real life and which are invented. That is the charm and uniqueness of this story.

As for the “Alien” encounters…  At first, the story leads readers to believe that Hay is being abducted by extraterrestrials. Strange figures appear. Time disappears. A mind block is melted.  But this story has a twist that separates it from typical UFO stories. (It would be too much of a spoiler to reveal the twist here).
